Not that it would surprise people if he wasn't here, but I think he restructures and stays.

Some team out there will pick him up with the hope of filling seats. Some team's coaching staff and front office will be looking to make a name for themselves if they actually turn Reggie into the productive back he was projected to be. He's gone.

For all of the hope and faith reggie brought to new orleans during a time of need, not to mention the charitable work and dedication to the city he has exhibited, I think the saints should without a doubt keep reggie.
He has been a class act all the way, and is a hell of a money maker in terms of endorsements and branding opportunities.

I actually like Reggie and think he does great things for the city. I hope he restructures.

This was true three years ago... not so much anymore. I agree that he's a class act and great teammate, but that comes at a great cost. A 11-0 record has done more to promote the team than Reggie ever could.

the latter will weigh more in the eyes of benson unfortunately. along the same lines if the saints go to the SBOWL louisiana wont be able to afford the saints.

The source is Jason Cole, the biggest Reggie on the planet. After reading the column, its just Cole being a complete douche. He is trying to make some drama with Shockey as well.
