I don't know if there's still an insight.com bowl but that was most ridiculous name.

Why is it ridiculous? It is just new title sponsor for the Motor City Bowl, since Dodge, GM, and Ford cant pay for the sponsorship and Little Caesers is based from Detroit.

Illitch, the owner of Little Caesars, and a great man for Detroit, is putting his sponsor name onto this game. It's actually a great thing for Detroit, and as mentioned, formally the Motor City bowl.

I just wish that the sponsor name would name completely replace the name of the "bowl". For example, I would be fine with it being the Little Caesar's Motor City Bowl or the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl and not just the Little Caesar's Bowl or the Chick-Fil-A Bowl.

i know money talks, but i just hate having sponser names being the actual bowl game. It just sounds bad.

I miss the citrus bowl, peach bowl, etc

I agree with Pilot Tiger 100%. I will never say Chik Fil A bowl, esp with those stupid commercials. add to that the stupid as presented by Citi or whomever.

Just don't say grandaddy of them all

The Fiesta Bowl was called the Salad Bowl before it was the Fiesta Bowl. There is a huge sign in ASUs stadium showing they were the Salad Bowl winners in like 1950 or some crap.

Wasn't there a San Diego County Employees Credit Union Bowl, or something like that?

What was the first bowl to have a corporate name in the official title? For some reason the Poullan Weedeater rings a bell.
