OMG, idiots posting on ESPN.com chat.
Where do these guys come from, are they real fans or bandwagoners?

As much as I love the Saints, it is time to lose a game or two. Get the taste of defeat in their mouth. This was a historically win in New Orleans and the confidence is extremely high. I just want to see them lose, so they can be ready for the playoffs. Anything can and does happen during the playoffs. The Vikings are a great team and you can never really count out the Cowboys, Eagles and Cardinals. It only takes one great game and the Saints playing flat like they did a few times this year. GO SAINTS!!!!!

undefeated regular season teams have a 50% chance of winning the super bowl and a 100% chance of getting there (historically)

we just blew out the losing end of that 50%

I like our odds

I'd say they looked pretty much ready for the playoffs last night!!!!

Brees is in the zone. I wish the playoffs started next weekend!!

I think we've had plenty of experience with losing (historically). Kinda would like to see them continue winning...

Stupid arse logic. Wouldn't you want to be used to winning once you get into the playoffs? You know, since you fricking go home when you lose.

...and even if losing would have any benefit at all we're not just going to drop a game on purpose. The only thing to do is to keep winning, not for 16-0, not for personal stats, but for home-field advantage, and then for a Superbowl.

There were Rantards saying the same thing about LSU's winning streak in baseball 2 years ago. Something like "let's lose a game and get that winning streak monkey off of our back", as if losing any game will give you a better chance at winning more games later on.

We have to get the Vikings in the superdome. It is imperative

I'd be hard pressed to concede defeat to any team that has to play the Saints in the Dome. I honestly don't think any team in the NFL can come to NOLA and beat the Saints. They need to curb stomp everyone they play from here on out and leave no chance that a playoff game is played anywhere else.
