EMPTY FEELING

So the season has just ended....wait what? really? don't we still have some really good matchups left? isn't there something else to get hyped about this season...nope. it's over.
Am I alone in thinking that this season never got rolling? we kept waiting and kept waiting for the most exciting things to happen and they never did. There really wasn't a game where I saw any passion or will to win. Ya we won 9 games. Just like I thought we would and it is definitely an improvement. and while it looks like a large one I have that feeling that well it really only was a SLIGHT improvement.
What happens next season? If this trend is what we are now i'll surely even fall asleep during a game. (okay huge exaggeration), but really Where is the FIRE!? where is the HAVE A GREAT DAY! my DAM STRONG team? where is glenn dorsey calling forth the camera? or laron landry sayin ya we're lsu and we're here to F*ck you up.
there goes JJ doing another option...snooooze. Thank god for patrick peterson, at least he gets excited and leaves emotions on the field. LSU the past two seasons has been timid and much less intimidating to opponents. maybe opponents are better or we're really not who we thought we were danny green.
one thing is for sure we need that PASSION that we all love to see. i guess cane's was lying when they said no one is hungrier. I hope next year our team is hungry and we see the determination in every single play. the ability to not win with pure strength but the will to prevail.

EMPTY FEELING
I got an empty feeling for those who have not. I am NOT worried about LSU'S record or the SAINTS. I feel bad for my co-worker that had to have a QUAD By-pass today.!!!! Sports is fun , BUT not as important enough to get all STUPID OVER!!!

symptoms of a spoiled fan base ...
Really? Did you see the Georgia game? Miss State? Ole Miss? Arkansas? No, the Tigers didn't blow those teams out (didn't even win them all), but those games had excitement.
See my reference to the games above. It took passion on the part of the players to win those games. No passion means losses in all of those games.

I chalk it up to our having pulled off the miraculous '07 championship season. -Tough to live up to that season.

The combined Win/Loss records for all the teams we beat this year currently adds up to 44-62, with not a single team having more than 7 wins.
