If Crowton leaves, what kind of OC will LSU be looking for, and do you have anyone in mind?

I'll be surprised if Les can get any quality coach to join his lane duck staff. Just one more reason TAF should replace Miles at the end of this season.

Excellent point (lame duck). D/C gone last year, O/C this year.... H/C....writing is on the wall.

Sid Edwards, he's a great recruiter, and his teams perfect the behind the back pass, in football. Man, could you see Trindon flipping through our backfield?

I like Pitts OC.

I actually really like him. Only problem is, I think he is a Penn Native.

Would like to see Carmichael, Jr from the Saints. Know that Payton is the real OC for the Saints but sure Carmichael has learned a thing or two from him and has good QB coach exp. while at LA Tech.

Highly doubt he'd leave the Saints as an OC to become the LSU OC, he already turned down an OC gig with the Dolphins

It will ONLY be a lame duck staff if we don't get a quality replacement. There is still hope for Miles, even as pissed off at him as a lot of us are right now. He MUST address the problem this off season though. If no changes are made on offensive staff (maybe d-line coach as well), then yes, he will be the Charlie Weiss of 2010.

I 2 Tigerbait would love to have Norm Chow but he's a west coast guy and won't leave UCLA. If he was interesed and would listen he's the guy I would throw the bank at to get here. But no chance in getting him out of southern Cali.

Two ways to look at it. Many OC's would love the chance to come in a light up our offense, make a big name, turn the program around, and make `/2 million dollars. If this happens, our defense stays good and improves in Chief's 2nd year, and we win 10 games, Miles is safe.
