if anyone wants to be rational, here's a cool stat. this could be the fewest TDs LSU has allowed in 10 years.
2009: 15 - 162 points
2008: 39 - 314 points
2007: 35 - 279 points
2006: 20 - 164 points
2005: 21 - 185 points
2004: 25 - 205 points
2003: 19 - 154 points
2002: 30 - 238 points
2001: 34 - 268 points
2000: 26 - 221 points
INTs. 8 last year. 12 this year.
Passing D went from 83 to 23.
Pass efficiency D went from 42 to 20.
dont be so arrogant to think that you recognize a problem with the offense but Miles doesnt. the people saying that now said the same thing a year ago. was he supposed to kick the starting QB off the team, then fire the OC who broke every record we had one year earlier? the negatigers need to calm down before you have a heart attack. it is weird that the OC will be replaced just one after the DC, but Crowton was very good for us. I have no idea what happened to him but this will get fixed.

Well, for one thing, it means we aren't playing up to national expectations.

It means a lot of LSU fans are losing money on the team this year. And they aren't happy about it.

Will Miles recognize a problem with the head coach and fire himself?

Are those expectations generated without knowledge that Les Miles is the coach?

I think it's truly amazing how well the defense has played in spite of the offense. Our offense has been horrible and has more 3 and outs than I can ever remember. It may not be what it was when King Lord Savior God of All Gods Saban was here but I'm impressed with the improvement.
If we only had an offense, what could have been.

Do you have any clue how Vegas works? They don't give a shite who the best team is or what is perceived. They care about the money and who is doing the betting.

As much as the defense is on the field, this is a big stat. What were the numbers pre-2000? I assume they include bowl games?
Posted on 11/25/09 at 7:13 pm to The Dude
bowling and booze on the avatar, just add some chew tobacco and a rebel flag and you'll fit right in

Yes the D is vastly improved, but third down conversion against us is way too high. I hate how Chavis sits the corners 15 yards off on third and tens. Teams don't score but this pens the O in horrible field position. This has to be fixed, and then I can worship Chavis.

Ahhh, so we're not suppose to care who wins or loses, just if we cover the spread. Gotcha

2008 - 31.15, 57 for 183
2007 - 35.20, 71 for 202
2006 - 31.90, 58 for 182
