ESPN the Magazine - Player X? - More Clues

Does anybody have any thoughts of who Player X may be that writes in ESPN the Magazine?
They've said he's a NFL star and is a household name for NFL fans that plays today. He said in his last article that he's not a Colt, Saint, or Texan. There are clues and hints you can read from his articles.
I think he's a defensive player, and my guess would be Brian Dawkins. Some people say it's Larry Fitzgerald. Anyone got any other ideas?

Wonder if they'll ever reveal it, at the end of the series. I wonder if he's said anything that could be pretty damaging to him, if his identity is ever revealed. I don't think he has, but I could be overlooking something.

Yeah, he's definitely been in the league AT LEAST 5 years. I'd guess more like 10. I think he's either a defensive guy or a OL. Don't think it's Fitzgerald. Could be Dawkins.

Jason Taylor always popped into my head when I was reading it. So did Michael Strahan but he's retired so it cant be him.
