Darkhorse candidate for LSU's next coach

Bronco Mendenhall
Young coach who is 46-15 so far in 5 seasons including 2 11 win seasons. I realize it's BYU and the MWC but the man knocked off Oklahoma in a huge game. Also the talent at Breed'em Young is nowhere near LSU's. Imagine what he could do with 20+ 4 and 5 star recruits as opposed to just a handful of 3 and 4 star recruits. He's a guy from a smaller conference that we probably wouldn't have to break the bank on.

I like it. Good call

But also keep in mind that the teams he will be going against also have close to 20 4-5* players. Les miles also beat OU with less tale Ted teams.

Real quick check list:
1)Does he know not to call time out once the clock is already stopped?
2) Does he know anything about clock managment?
3) Does he like disclipine or is he a cheerleader coach??

Miles is not going to get fired. Might as well get that out of your heads and avoid any let down.

Bronco Mendenhall alone sounds awesome. Too bad we couldn't get TCU's DC, Dick Bumpass.

He will be after next year. Book it.

I know that unfortunately. It's just fun to play along.

LSU is a year away from that happening. If Les beats Arkansas, it might be longer than that.

he could solve our rb woes and coaching woes all at once.

I would pursue Butch Davis. He would have us at the elite level again in his first year.

Chris Peterson would make an interesting SEC coach also.

+1
Or even Tubbs at this point would have the team playing strong.

I like harbaugh's swagger at stanford. Any coach that pisses off Carrol is on my A list.
