Miles - A New Man?

Will we see a different side to Les Miles now that all the national and local media has come out batting for the fences? I am kind of interested to see if a different person steps up to the mic during the presser and the weekly radio show at Walk-Ons. Any chance he loses the Coach speak and lays it all out on the line?

I laugh at the thought hundreds of people
"marched for miles" a couple years back

I think there's a better chance he doesn't show up.
Neither will happen. That show will be an epic example of speaking in circles.

I predict that we'll see a NEW Coach Miles.
He learned his lesson from this.
From now on, we will see organized, focused, informed, intelligent and quick-thinking head coaching on the LSU sidelines. The "new Les" will be totally unlike "the old Les."
Not only that, but the LSU offense and defense will never again look confused and clueless before at least half of the snaps in the game.
No more of that noise. It's a new day in the Era of Coach Miles.
I hope . . .

I know that.
I also know that LSU doesn't make the move until after The Downfall.

"We did not give a quality effort. The drive on this team was not strengthened by our willingness to achieve victory. Ole Miss is a quality team with much passion for the game and we were not able to overcome our deficit. We look forward to ournext opportunity and will prepare our team to perform to its highest potential.
Af far as the playclock management. The coaching staff made a great team effort. Crowton made a quality decision to not kick a field goal as we felt our personnel could achieve great victory against the defense that was being shown. I do not know what happened with the playclock. It was not a quality display of timeage. The effort was not demanded of the play clock officials and did not allow us to strive for victory. But its Jeffersons fault"

quote:I think we have been seeing a different side of him the last 2+ years. He was a much more emotional coach at OSU and his first 2 years here. I would be willing to bet he has been on some type of medication to reduce stress, which also takes away emotion and causes you to lose all sence of urgancy.
Will we see a different side to Les Miles
He needs to get off the Prozac during the off-season.

You mean an emotional coach who pays attention to detail, has his team prepared, and doesn't waste their effort with stupidity?
Yeah, for $4 million per year, I think I'd expect those sorts fo things.

QFT. We are in for some pretty lean years in LSU Football unfortunately

I hope he comes out and sobs like a baby and apologizes to his players, his assistant coaches, the students and fans, and everyone else in the state of Louisiana. Something along those lines might make me consider letting him stay through at least the bowl game. Anything short of that would (will be) an insult to everyone that has ever followed LSU athletics.

He has one shot ( NOW ) to be a new man. If not, he will be done sooner than many of us expect. Alleva and the Board are pissed more than you might believe. Les's back is against the wall -- let's see if he responds.

I sure would like to see the old Les Miles with that fire in his eye and his emotion on his sleeve. I think he's changed since he won the National Title. At least he could make me laugh while he was being an idiot. Now he's a boring idiot.
