Outstanding post dmitch.

I'm with you, man. The players have my full support on Saturday, regardless of what the coaches do or don't do. I hope they realize that we are with them, not against them.

dmitch, I know for a fact that 99.9% of TigerNation are totally behind the players.

I was at the game in Oxford, and there was a ton of LSU fans at the game. I would be willing to bet they weren't there for the coachs. We were there for the players...

The beef is with the coaching staff not giving our players the best opportunity to win.

We love our players. They are all Tigers. The coaches though...they have to be held accountable for Saturday's disaster.

To all the players, we are 100% behind you and I hope you finish this year strong. Next year is our year...

I love my team.

And as a former 318er, I chuckled at Randle's 318 eye black Saturday.

Great post, thank you.

Great post! I don't think any of us are down on the players themselves. Yes, there were some dropped balls, but that's football - it happens, nobody's upset about that.

I think we can support the troops, as it were, without agreeing with the way they're being handled. That's why we're so frustrated. These are great kids and they are not being given the direction they deserve. These guys have the talent to take on anyone in the country and we realize it - they have nothing to be ashamed of.

What we have here is kinda like a hunter who's got the best rifle in the woods, and he's making an arse of himself because he mounted the scope backwards.

It'd be nice to have this thread run to several hundred posts. After all, this is for and about the PLAYERS.

Our young men should hold their heads up, they gave themselves a great chance to win. I wish the coaching was on the same level... they deserve that. This group has no quit in them, and fight until the end.

Not hating by why does this post get a sticky and countless others like it did not?

Is it like employee benefits or something?

Ah... was wondering cause there have a been a few just like this that have sunk to bottoms a pages fast because well no one wants to hear anything good right now. No one wants to support the players, all anyone wants is to bash Crowton/Les.

I agree 200% and know if it had not been for the team's effort (based on talent, not coaching) Saturday, LSU would not have been in a position to win that game at all.

I am always cheering for our Tigers and appreciate the reminder from dmitch today.

Beat them pig sooies, y'all!!!

Oh, and just for fun...

Bluto: Hey! What's this lying around shite?
Stork: Well, what the hell we s'posed to do, you moron?
D-Day: War's over, man. Wormer dropped the big one.
Bluto: Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!
Otter: Germans?
Boon: Forget it, he's rolling.
Bluto: And it ain't over now. 'Cause when the goin' gets tough...[pauses to remember the rest of the phrase]... the tough get goin'! Who's with me? Let's go! [runs out, alone; then returns]

COuldn't have said it better Dmitch. Your brother went off in that game. I kept wondering who was guarding him b/c the cornerbacks were getting always trailing him. I can't wait to see him as our number 1 or 2 next year when he gets the ball thrown his way even more.

Dmitch -- This is the exact message that we fans need. You bring us back to reality and remind us that we love LSU and the LSU players more than anything. They are more down than we are angry. We'll come through. Meaningful note for all of us.
