Does anyone else think Crowton should go? The offense hasn't done anything since he has been there. Yes Miles blew that game, but Crowton has not done well the past two seasons.

No we think he should get a raise.

Right, just like the DC change had no effect

Getting rid of Crowton would certainly help though it wouldn't make up for incompetent moments like yesterday. Crowton is infatuated with the passing game and neglects the run. Even Spurrier's teams at UF in the 90's always had a running attack. I have heard Miles say this OL was as good as any he has had at LSU since he arrived. With that said, why do you not have confidence you can run the ball in on the 2 pt. conversion from the 1.5 yd line after the PI? Crowton mistakenly thinks he is still at BYU and you can expect more of the same offensively as long as he is the OC.

We need some fresh faces on the offensive side of the ball. I wouldn't mind if they got rid of the whole staff.

An accomplishment that will not be repeated at LSU based on his body of work thus far. Some of the best athletes in the country on the offensive side of the ball for LSU and they have absolutely struggled to move the ball and score points. Sure, they are playing against SEC defenses but can you point to one conference game where they actually imposed their will offensively on the opposition? Either Crowton is trying to fit the wrong players into the wrong system or he has lost it as an offensive mastermind and play caller. Regardless, the end result is the same.

Gary Crowton is responsible for one of the all time poorest utilizations of an existing talent pool in the history of college football. Not much of a QB coach either. Jefferson and Lee look like they do for a reason........

I made a comment very early in the season that perhaps Crowton should get out of the pressbox and onto the field.
Of course, this is the Rant and I got ridiculed for making such a decent suggestion.
Now that I think about it, he may have been able to save his job or at least couldn't have done worse that he has. At least he could have face to face discussions with his QBs and offense on the sideline.
Oh well, F him.

Miles has controlled the offense since Day 1. For this reason, I predict that Crowton will leave on his own.
