I haven't been hiding anywhere bud.

Since I have your attention, admittedly odd since I don't post much on the Rant but you seem to have some fascination with me, answer the following questions honestly for me - what will it take for you to see that Miles is not an elite coach? Would it take losing the next two games? Would it take going 8-4 again next year? What is your breaking point?

I bet you were a Smoke Laval fan and a John Brady fan too...weren't you.

don't flatter yourself. I find you and the other "LSU fans" doing this crap disgusting. In fact, I come around here less and less BECAUSE there is far too much negativity on the rant.

Exactly. But your BS is quite noticeable when you are here.

(NOTE: I realize you will praise yourself for believing that you have pulled me into your negative ranting and that I am feeding your narcissism but here goes anyway.) I would not be pleased with 2 more losses this year. Does that mean I have turned to your darkness? No. I thought this was a 3-loss season before it started. I expect a positive trend BY THE END OF THE SEASON. I expect LSU and Les to be back on track next year and competing for the SEC and NC in 2011. THEN I will think it is time to start a coach search. Until that time I support Les 100% and believe he will do the right things to get this back on track...he has earned the opportunity to do so.

Breaking point? That insinuates something that is not relevant to my perspective on LSU football or any sport for that matter. My life and frame of mind is not affected by the outcome of a sporting event of any kind. Sure I get pissed when LSU loses but it ends as soon as the game is over. Same with the excitement of winning. It is entertainment -- nothing more, nothing less.

Proof you are what most on here think you are: a negative asswipe.

I honestly can't say what my "breaking point" would be until I get there, and I'm nowhere near there yet.

LSU under Les Miles won the NC in 2007, a year in which I believe Florida under Urban Meyer went 7-4 in the year following their 2006 NC. LSU was 8-5 last year, a very disappointing year to everyone, but there were many reasons for that decline: losing Bo Pelini, having to kick our star QB off the team and replacing him with 2 inexperienced freshman, and Miles' mistake of going with 2 defensive co-coordinators. (A mistake that Miles, to his credit, recognized and corrected for this year)

At 8-2 so far this year, with our only losses being tough, hard fought losses to #1 Florida and #3 Alabama, I am not so ready to throw in the towel as many Miles haters seem to be. Why don't you wait to see what the Tigers do in their last 3 games (OM, ARK and the bowl game) before declaring this year another failure?

That's the thing for me. It seems that a lot of plastic Tiger finds have a very low "breaking point". They can't take any disappointment at all and react bitterly when subjected to it. They have no patience, regardless of the circumstances, and refuse the reasonable request to give Les Miles the time he deserves to show that he can return LSU to the kind of form that won the SEC and National championships of 2007.
