FWIW- Central needs to have some concern. This was a team that got throttled by WM. However I do believe this is a testament to NELA football

And WM had to sneak out of New Orleans with a "W" tonight

Sad for Ouachita, nobody deserves to lose that way.

Central had a season high in penalties. Over 150 yards I believe. Ouachita had 33 yards I think.

True, very true. Not saying NELA is better than NOLA. Those two have traditionally been the strongest in the state until the recent years with SWLA. All are better than BR area

Central had two straight home games. Westgate travelled in the bi-district round. Therefore, Westgate is at home. And if they win, they will likely be at home in the semifinals as well.

eh it's been like this for like forever. It's not like the lhsaa hates central or anything. This is a good thing for Central anyway. Now they will get Rummel at home if they win.

I thought the higher seed was normally the road team in the 3rd round?

I always thought it depended on the last game

if both were the home team this week, the higher seed should be the home team next week.

like i said, i dont think it matters what Westgate did in Rd1 unless they havent been the home team yet.. Again, i could be wrong

Yes it does matter that westgate was away because the home team goes to the team tat travels the most. Or if both traveled the same THEN it goes to the higher seed.

Exactly.

Which is why if Rummel and Westgate both win (which I think they will), Westgate will be at home AGAIN!
