I have to disagree somewhat. Despite Lee's propensity to throw picks last season, he also had the smarts to throw the ball away. If Jefferson senses pressure, he still panics. Rather than throw the ball out of bounds, he tries to tuck it and run, sometimes into the path of the oncoming pass rush. However, I understand that poor OL play is responsible for this to a certain extent as well.

On Miles radio show last night, he said the offensive line would have been better if the running game had been better earlier in the season. It would seem to me the running game would have been better if the offensive line play would have been better. The play of the offensive line determines your running game not vice versa.Need to insert Lonergan , Blackwell & Hurst in the starting O-Line. We can't run because we can't block with some of the present starters.

Our run game has shown signs of decent productivity lately

KW is more than capable and CS got over 80 yards on around a dozen carries against bama

how is throwing the ball away TOO much because you have bad vision better than tucking and running it?


at least a Jefferson run has a chance to succeed, and he rarely runs for a loss, how is that worse than throwing it away?

not only did lee throw it away far too much, he STILL made ill-advised passes clearly highlighting why latech has one of the worst secondaries in the country...this is why you get 30% completions...there is no worse way to keep you offense off the field than what Lee did against latech

how do you get an intentional grounding penalty with 10 seconds to throw the ball?

Kentrell Lockett from Hahnville will receive the snaps Hardy misses. They have been sharing time this year anyway. If Hardy is out then it does help the Tigers Oline. Must keep Powe(former tiger recruit) from blowing up the middle of the line IMO. Look for keeping the big fullback in quite a bit to protect JJ.

Hardy was out for the UT game and that did not seem to affect Ole Miss much. Ole Miss is really good on defense (with the exception of the Auburn game).

The biggest factor in LSUs corner this game to me is the fact the Ole Miss has played 7 or 8 games in a row without an open date. At some point fatigue has to set in for them.

The closer we get to gametime, the better I feel about this game for some reason. I all of the sudden have a feeling we might actually finally breakout a little.

I don't like Miles...I will admit. But we have two losses to the top two teams in college football and that is it. If JJ does not go down, I am convinced the Bama game is a win and we control our destiny to play for the national title. Last week was simply a case of a mental and physical letdown from the previous week coupled with overlooking an opponent.
