And Joe McKnight plays in the land of the soft defenses, with a supporting cast that would open up holes big enough for my lazy arse to run through.

I still think it was a mistake to let Christine Michael get away. There are no guarantees in recruiting, so I say take the best available every year.

I am not a scout, but I did watch on of Lache's games a month or so ago. I wasn't that impressed

Because you saw a video of him and you weren't impressed he isn't a 5 star

You people are amazing. You keep making excuses about a player if he doesn't come here. Lache is very good leave it at that

We do have Ridley and Ford, Calhoun, and Murphy for next year..

What makes people confident in Calhoun and Murphy?

Fact is, we fricked up on Christine Michael if we don't get Seastrunk. Major screw up.

WILL PEOPLE LOSE IT IF LACHE DOESN'T SIGN WITH US?

Yes, but they shouldn't. Lache is this year's 'freakish' athlete who amazes all in photos illustrating his vertical and his highlight film. Sam McGuffie comes to mind here. See below for comparison. It takes the perfect fit for this type of back to stand out at the next level(s).

Do I want Lache? Sure, but it will be difficult for him to live up to the hype surrounding his recruitment.

LINK

Ht: 5-11.5 Wt: 190 40: 4.4
Vertical - 41"
Bench Max - 355 lbs
Competition - 5A Texas

McGuffie is explosive, has uncanny balance and exceptional vision. He's a home run hitting back that has the ability to score from anywhere. McGuffie has very good speed, great acceleration and quickness and the ability to make people miss in the open field with a move or cut. He will also surprise you with his power and even hurdle a defender or two. McGuffie is fearless, hits the hole hard and just needs a crack to break a big one.

CM didn't even have that great of an offer list. He went to A&M not OU UT. We got the back this staff wanted in Ford. Took a chance on another in Richardson that didn't pan out.

BTW how is CM doing this year? I have no idea.

patsy..did you see McGuffie run at michigan before transfering to RICE. the guy got killed. 2 concusion's in one year. he was to small for an everydown back and left Michigan before he forgot his name. Lache is the same build and type of runner. who is to say he will be more than a 3rd down type of back at LSU. LSU is running into a problem in the next year..what to do with all of these running backs!

Joe Mcknight would probably already have 1000 yards this sesaon IF he could hold on to the BALL!!!

Larry Porter wouldn't let him get a carry with his fumbleitis.
