he has a decent arm
he has no confidence
he has a crick in his neck
he hangs his receivers out to dry
he will throw it up for grabs in a tough situation
he doesn't need to play

sixer is now a boo-ger!!!
boogers are people who have been severly criticized by their parents since they were infants. they are disfunctional babies from alcoholic, wife and child abusing (including incest) families and know only negative sarcasm.
they not only boo 19 yr old kids, but they are the bullies who probably are on probation from spousal abuse, or will soon be in prison b/c of their damaged self esteem strinking out at young men who actually DO SOMETHING with their lives.
just a thought.
but, after years of mental health training, the boogers are easy to read.
do you really think that any of these boo-gers could get a job trying to inspire young people?
do you think these boo-gers actually will get off the sauce long enuf to look at their own pitiful lives?

Maybe it's like the guy who's really nervous so he yanks on his shirt collar to cool himself down.

I will never boo anyone who puts on an LSU uniform for something that he does on the field.
That said, Lee put up bad numbers after a week of practicing with the No.1 offense.. and showed that we need to go ahead with Jefferson and never look back.

anybody who thinks lee is better than jefferson after that pathetic performance don't know shite about football.

And you seem to delight in pointing that out.

+1..
I agree, but differ...
JL is not ready to start..YET ...
as I have said, players mature at different speed...
also, I you do not think that all the booing from the so called LSU fans, do not affect the confidence, you are crazy.....
Playing QB is a lot about confidence, yet some of so called LSU fans, just want to tear him down.
It is STUPID !

Thanks J Lee, for doing everything that is asked of you, representing LSU well, and taking the high road. Most of us understand you are trying, you are a student athlete, and that you don't deserve to be degraded in your own stadium.
Unfortunately, this is Louisiana, home to some of the least educated people in the country, and they expect more from you as LSU's QB then they expect from themselves in their own lives.

Example of CLASS.
Most of us understand you are trying, you are a student athlete, and that you don't deserve to be degraded in your own stadium.
And those that do, should feel ashamed. But they won't, and will argue their rights to do so. Examples of selfish, spoiled, classless spectators. Fans don't boo their own team, IMO.
All OF YOU, WHO WEAR THE PURPLE AND GOLD.

He is not competent to play college football in this division, perhaps not at all.

he's a good kid, but he is not SEC caliber. I blame Les for not having his bullpen more organized as to have a better backup.
Understand this, the road to the cellar is paved with student athletes who "try hard".......may not be fair, but it's life in big time college football.
You are an idealist who doesn't understand that this is a multi multi million dollar business and those kids know it as well.
"Trying hard" for pats on the back are for Tulane.

Incorrect. I understand it.
Who was supposed to play Saturday night? We had no other option.
Les had his bullpen aligned perfectly until RP couldn't keep himself out of trouble.
LSU gave the kid a scholarship- he is honoring it. He didn't pay for it. He didn't beg for it. It was given to him. He should be a backup scholarship QB. Every team has one. If and when he has to play, his own fanbase should show support.
Would it be acceptable to throw T.C. McCartney in the game, who, we can all agree, is not a SEC caliber QB, then boo and blame him for not being successful?

I think you missed Charles' point, which was a valid one and one of the better takes I've seen on the situation.
He has the benefit of perspective, of course.

This..unfortunately.......I think he can be SEC caliber, but he has a case of rabbit ears.
Give em hell JL.

I think Lee is David Carr
Lots of talent...
Loads of potential...
But ruined by his experience playing for us.
He looks scared on the field...watched Carr do the same thing his final year with the Texans.

If this is the case (and I'm not saying it is), then his psyche is entirely too fragile for him to ever be a successful big time college QB ANYWHERE.
