this "jihad" has been in effect since 2005 and LSUwon it all in 2007, so your theory is disproved

What is killing us is our offensive coaches. No
recruit would want to come to LSU the way we are
playing on offense. Crowton has to go period.
Porter is the only one I might want to stay.
It is not the players it is the offensive coaching
staff. Les has to do something or his stock is going down. Our defense is improving leave that along.

LSU recruiting rankings since 2006 accoeding to Rivals.com

2006-#7
2007-#4
2008-#11
2009#2
2010-currently #4

There is no problem with recruiting! This is definitely a strength of Miles and his staff!

we get just about everyone instate that we want. And pretty much everyone that is a priority. We also snag top players from states with top talent???

I kind of understand what you are saying. But if anything we have to much talent.

and if your case did hold water nobody would go to oklahoma. When is the last time stoops one a bowl game?? Do you know what they do to him on the message boards over there?

how bout georgia, auburn, ohio state, pen state, miami etc.

going by your logic nobody would go there either. But of course that is not the case.

So nevermind i don't understand your point.

The same stupid coaching staff that won the 2007 BCS championship.

I'd be more concerned about recruits not wanting to come to play for a coach who is constantly being attacked while his team is ranked #10 in the nation.

Out of all the elite teams in the SEC, Les Miles is the only coach who is attacked in such a way and that has to affect our recruiting.

A strength the NegaTigers are willing to gamble away with their vicious attacks on our coaching staff--year after year after year after year.

LSU suck last year but we're still number 1 u must be smoking a s** load of pots son. Louisiana is down this year but we're going to be #1 next year.

Florida sucked in 2007 even with their Heisman Qb, but their fanbase did not launch a hate-filled attack against Urban Meyer.

The NegaTigers are assured of launching an attack against an LSU H.C. each and every year.

i think even the most ardent Les Miles critic will admit he's a good recruiter. It's what he does (or doesn't do) with all the talent he's recuited is my issue. LSU shouldn't be dominated by a LaTech team with the talent LSU has. If LSU had won by 8 and not been dominated, I don't think there would be as much of an issue.

We finished ahead of Florida last year.

And arguably ahead of Alabama as well.

Nope, they launched it on Dan Mullen and Charlie Strong...

There is always an issue with the NegaTigers.

As long as Saban and Meyer can enjoy a supportive fanbase, their recruiting will be better than ours in the long run.

We don't have any 5 star recruits this year, and due to all the attacks on Miles and his coaching staff, I don't expect there to be one.

The NegaTigers deserve an standing ovation for that.

Bad Cat--you just took a shot at my age in another thread. Now I have to take a shot at your intelligence.

This is by far the dumbest thread I've read on the Rant in the last few months. Players don't give one fraction of a shite about what we say over here.

The other elite teams (I say this under the assumption that we can still be considered elite going 8-8 in our last SEC games) are undefeated. 10-0 > 8-2.

So you're perfectly fine with LaTech dominating LSU eventhough LSU was the far more talented taem?

I know if I was an out of state recruit and I was considering a major SEC power, I would be nore likely to eliminate LSU because of the lack of fan support to its head coach.
You'd be more likely to eliminate LSU if the fricking coaches didn't utilize the remarkable talent stock-piled.

The bolded number is the average star rating

1 Alabama--------27 4 14 9 3.81 2,786
2 LSU------------24 4 11 9 3.79 2,581
3 Ohio State-----25 2 15 8 3.76 2,478
4 USC------------19 4 11 2 3.89 2,410
5 Texas----------20 3 11 6 3.85 2,375
6 Georgia--------19 1 14 4 3.84 2,179
7 Florida State--21 2 10 8 3.62 2,154
8 Michigan-------22 1 13 6 3.59 2,124
9 North Carolina-29 1 13 10 3.34 2,084
10 Tennessee-----21 2 9 10 3.62 2,037
11 Florida-------16 3 9 4 3.94 2,017

LSU has won two BCS championships this decade and last year was our best recruiting year, but out of all the elite recruiting programs, LSU's fanbase attacks it coach the most and that has to have an effect.

We will never achieve our full potential as long as these constant attacks continue against our coaching staffs.

After losing last week to Bama and in the fashion we lost, I absolutely understand why our student athletes couldn't get up for this weeks game, and you are full of B.S. if you are going to blame that on the coaching staff.

But to belong to the NegaTiger Nation, you have to tow the company line.
