Yes or No?

I say yes. Our offense is too damn complicated for our players and we have declined in productivity every year since his hire!

On one hand, this has been the worst LSU offense in a while.

On the other hand, Crowton didn't have much a lot work with compared to previous seasons. We have a new QB and, although they have played better since the BYE week, our o-line is below par as a whole. Personally, I'd give him one more year based off of 07 and 08 alone.

Speaking of below par, why don't you got ask him. He's the resident coaching changes expert.

And this has nothing to do with graduating a senior leader at QB, losing a potential all-american QB because he showed his idiot side in public way too much, and then having to go to 2 young QBs before their time. You must be right, blame the coach, it's the easy thing to do.

Ok, which big name would we hire to replace him?

This should be good...

Yes, he needs to go. There is no excuse for our offensive ranking and performance.

How about we just throw him in the habitat with Mike for a few days. If he can scheme a way to stay alive, we keep him. If not, we get a new one.

I just said to myself how hard it is to watch other games, like this Florida/South Carolina. AT times SC offense looks better than ours...We hold our breath when we are 3rd and 4 but Florida never has a problem getting that first down...

The only thing that is discouraging is we used to be able to line up in I formation and smash ahead on short yardage situations.

I agree with the original post. If we don't win a national championship I say we fire the OC until we do. And if we don't win it the following year we fire his butt. Keep the turnover at OC going until we find one that can win it every year!

I remember the comment by Early Doucet after LSU played Miss St. and won 45 to 0. One of the Miss St. defensive players told Doucet that (Crowton)our offensive coordinator was a genius. Now some on this board think he is mentally challenged.(just being politically correct)

Ah, that's not gonna work. Mike's a 75-star, dual-threat prospect and we don't want to burn his redshirt year. And, as we're doing with "10," we can't let him pass the ball 'cos people might notice it.
