The most disturbing part of the offense this year is the fact we are dead last in the SEC and have been all season. We have serious playmakers and a good QB, we have no reason to be the worst offense in the SEC.
It is encouraging that the offense has been showing some life lately since the Florida game. Crowton needs to play Shepard more and stop benching him, he comes in for 2 or 3 plays and we never see him again. Let him play, that is my biggest issue with the offense this season, lack of true freshman impact when we have 2 very talented players that could give more spark to the offense.
If Crowton stays, next year's offense better be on par with 2007. We will be over the mess Perrilloux left us in, We will have an experienced QB, experienced OL, a great WR group, Ridley, Murphy, and Ford as RBs, and Russell Shepard.
If he can't produce with those players, he needs to go.

Maybe we should let a committee of rantards call the plays during the game ....maybe chicken will make a Play Calling Board. :beatdeadhorse:

no just tell les to stay out of the OC calling business.
Yeah, I agree with this. Still not convinced just how much Crowden (during the games) is making play calls, or how much Miles is involved.
This is a "wait until the end of the season" decision. Gotta see how we do rest of the yr. and Miles (as he did with the 2 DCs last season) will sack Crowden softly.

How do you know Les is calling the plays? Don't you think its pretty disrespectful to our coach to assume that when the offense is playing poorly, it must be because Miles is calling the plays? Because ya know, Crowton is perfect when it comes to playcalling.

He would probably teach Mike to lunge at his prey and miss.
