Webster for me. The boy was nasty at man-to-man and showed me a new appreciation for the position.

I loved the def we played, when webster and daniels would get up the wrs shite and dare the qb to throw. 03 def was badass

that was because of Saban getting on them, something that has been missing ever since.

I loved Webster. If he would not have tried punt returning he would have been a 1ST rounder, but PP is the man. I think PP is the best LSU DB I have seen.

03 was an awesome defense but I think Peterson starts on any lsu defense ever.

He picked off 7 in his sophomore year. 3 came in one game at The Swamp

I just miss our intensity and aggresiveness on defense. If our coaches played the same style of defense as 03, PP would be even nastier.
We are gonna have a sick secondary next year. If we could get a good pass rush next year, the sky is the limit onthe amount of INT our defense will bring in.

Corey Webster was a WR turned DB, but because of his great athleticism easily adjusted to become a really good CB even though he is struggling right now, again, with NY. Peterson has been a CB since Day 1 in HS, he is a shutdown CB right now, and will go on to do the same in the NFL.

so, IMHO, it is a no brainer for me to say PP will go down as LSU's best CB ever.

also, I'm really disappointed in Jai Eugene because he is similar to CW, a great athlete turned into a corner. I thought he would be another Webster.

Can't compare a true sophomore with a redshirted senior. With that being said I think Peterson is as good as Webster was as a senior.

PP is already better than CW. He is the total package. The only question is can he return kicks or play some offense to elevate his national stature. I'm assuming if he could, we'd have seen it by now.

I've always thought that part of Webster's success was helped by having a quality safety in Jack Hunt behind him.

You learn in 1st grade English that when you are comparing 2 people, you use "better" instead of "best".
