That touchdown run by Ridley against the Tide is exactly what this offensive line needs. On that one play, Ridley showed you not a college type run, but an NFL type run. He reminded me of Pierre Thomas running for the Saints. The way he cut and bounced that run outside.
Vision?
Check!
Explosiveness?
Check!
Balance?
Check!
Strength?
Check!
And the drive and desire to run to daylight, and most importantly the determination to not be satisfied with anything less than a touchdown.
I'm not sure where Keiland's mindset is at this point in the season. His carries have diminished for a reason only known to the coaches. One thing is for sure. We have a RB in Ridley that's wanting to explode like a volcano. Ridley can help this team put the Tide game behind them and quickly beginning with La Tech.
It's Ridley's time.

Damn't I think the same thing, Let's get him in the game, I really want to see him against Ole Miss and Arky, hell any time to see him play would be good

He has aptitude no doubt, but I love his ATTITUDE even better...

Too bad he did not get that 3-1.. for the first Saturday.. would have liked to see if he was 1/10th as good as most on td.com thinks he is.

As much as I like Ridley I'm more eger to finally see Keiland in all his glory. He has been flying under the radar his whole career at LSU and has carried 273 times for 1543 yds at 5.6 ypc. If Miles follows his typical "play the senior" logic then look for Keiland to dosome special things to cap off his time at LSU.

Ridley certainly has the want to be a explosive runner...

Watch the play. Bama was in the backfield so fast that his ankles were wrapped up two yards behind the line and he was wrapped up mid-section instantly after that. NO rb in the history of football makes that first down.
Ridley, given the carries will dominate. Next year he will be the best back in the SEC.
Does anyone else on LSU's roster make that TD run? The answer is no.

yeah, can't wait to see Russell Sheppard his senior year! Until then I guess we will just have to be happy to see glimpses.

Barry Sanders laughs at you...

Ridley has not learned the blocking scheme for pass plays yet, especially for picking up blitzes. That is both his and K. Williams' main weakness.

I saw that too, he didnt even get a chance to do anything, once he got the ball McClain and Cody was blocking the only way. I believe it's going to be a race between McCalleb from Aurburn, Ridley, and IUngram

And you know this how? I think we are in no position to judge Ridley yet. He has just begun to see action. I'll actually tell you something that did happen in the Bama game. JJ was sacked and knocked out of the game with an ankle injury because Scott completely failed to block the blitzing LB. So, it's not like Ridley is replacing a stellar RB at picking up the blitz.

hate to say it but if ridley follows his fb he has the hole and a first down, mcclain was eyeing ridley from the handoff and he cut back between the guard and center instead of behind his fb

that's how it appeared to me too, but I haven't seen the replay

I'd like to see Keiland get some carries to hopefully get himself drafted this year. He's been a good Tiger and has taken his reduced PT like a champ as far as we know. Let him have the opportunity to showcase himself to better his future. But mix in some Beast mode Ridley in the process!

yea i heard someone talking about it so i watched again, parsons was gonna to be man on man with mcclain and all ridley has to do was follow. much respect to ridley but just a young mistake in a big game.

He will. One thing about KW, he is a great teammate. The guy roots for everyone during the game and celebrates even other RBs success. I look forward to him breaking some swing passes for big gainers. It looked to me if JJ tosses him a swing pass on that 2pt attempt he reaches the pylon.
