4TH Quarter,15-13LSU with 3rd and 1.5 yds,for very important first down, run called to Mt Cody's side , he stuffed it.
ALA next possession, "Safety" Brandon Taylor, put in for "Corner" PP, takes inside angle instead of outside after Julio J's screen play catch-result in TD, 21-15 Ala.
Icing on ALA's cake-Daniel Graff, trying to be a hero, negates LSU immediate possession, with the ruffing the kicker penalty to keep ALA's drive alive and a FG.24-15 ALA.
Looked like coaching , a little bad luck and a little selfish ego, that caused the most damage.

None of these hurt LSU worse than losing Jefferson, Peterson, and Scott at the end of the third.

Uh yeah OK...that was a helluva flop by the kicker. In this game, reverse the roles and that flag either does not get thrown or gets picked up.

Flop or no flop...I think that was the correct call for the 5 yard penalty that LSU got. Graff's body hit the kicker pretty high on the leg.

You're a fricking a-hole. All we needed was the ball right? I guess you had confidence in the offense that got 9 fricking yards in the entire 4th quarter to negotiate 90yds on Bama's defense? We needed to sell out on the punt block idiot. No need to take a shot at the kid prick.

I would think the coaches called for the block. Ball pinned deep in your own territory (I believe it was fair caught at the 8) or a possible huge, game changing play near midfield? Was worth the risk, at the time.

Graff hit the foot of the punter.

it wasn't a roughing the kicker.. it was running into the kicker..... big difference..

I could have sworn he hit somewhere up the shin, regardless that's going to be called every time. It's not like he hit is foot or leg with just his hand, his body ran into it.

Les Miles secretly entered Daniel Graf's brain and re-engineered it to instead of going for the ball, aim for the foot and cause a penalty. This is all Les Miles fault, he should have been out there to block the kick himself.

The worst thing about that whole event was the fact that the ball got a questionable spot after the penalty.

Either way, to IGNORE the leading with the helmet shot to JJ but flag this tag football type whiff? This game was not called equitably...it was just downright bad in LSU's direction. I don't believe the grand conspiracy shite but this ref has done this to us in the state of Alabama before.

Sad part is there are some on here who undoubtedly believe this.

I agree the three bad calls were the two point conversion, blocked punt attempt and the call for putting Taylor on PP. I mean Taylor couldn't cover Hanks. He played great in previous weeks, but this was not his week.

Nothing questionable about it. They gave Bama an extra foot or two

Correction- It was a 5 and 1/2 yard penalty.

Inability to move the ball was the most crucial--completely shutdown in the 4th. There were bad calls, but running into the kicker was not one of 'em.
