Oriental Pearl Sherwood at Coursey>>>>Oriental Pearl Govt St.

Lil' comparison. For being the same ownership, much is lost in translation from the original location/owner/chef, to the second location and it's kitchen staff.

Their menu fare is decent, but they cut their veggies in huge hunks, and without proper asian cut bias. Plus their menu fare isn't a huge leap beyond their buffet grade fare.

Taste of Asia, PF Changs, Lil Saigon, Tasty Casian, etc..all much better to-go fare..and worth the ride imho.

The last time my wife and I went to the Oriental Pearl on Sherwood it was just awful. At 6 the stuff on the buffet seemed like it had been there since lunch, just disgusting. I am not saying don't go, maybe we just caught them on a bad decade.

I agree... plus on more than one occasion the Sherwood/Coursey location tried to overcharge me on my carryout. They overcharge you by like $5 and hope you won't notice...

Yeh, yeh, PF Changs is a chain, it's awful, blah, blah, blah.

Memo..BR..Chinese restaurant wasteland..and Chang's has some solid apps and dishes despite being an overrated chain. It's downright gourmet by BR's cheap ingrediented chinese restaurant standards and their mickey mouse budgets, and towers over the rest with it's deep pockets in contrast to the other BR asian joints that serve cheap grade meats and seafoods.

And yes, OP is only good the first hour at around 11AM, when it's fresh on the line. Once again, pitiful fare by SF, NYC, LA, LV, Sea, Port, etc..asian fare standards..but this is BR..quite possibly the weakest chinese restraurant market for a greater metro of 650+k in all of the USA.
