I normally don't start topics like this, but I need help coming up with a good response to something a guy just sent out on a listserve.
So what is the "normal" smell in Tuscaloosa?

Tuscaloosa is starting to smell faintly like corndogs. City officials expect the stench to continue until sometime late Sunday afternoon when things should return to normal.
So what is the "normal" smell in Tuscaloosa?

I always thought the smell of a corndog masked the smell of the carnies rather well.
I guess those in Tuscaloosa like the smell of their carnies unadulterated.
To each his own I guess.

I'm still fairly new around here, but have read similar posts like this one saying that opponents fans say LSU fans smell like corndogs. Where does this come from? I have never heard of this except on this board. It's really strange...I don't get it. Can someone please explain?

It started with a saying regarding the Nebraska Cornhuskers, which somewhat made sense. How it became applied to LSU, other than some dipshit who couldn't think of anything better, is beyond me.
