ha, so the 2 boudin purveyors in the city are next door to each other?

just looked up NOLA grocey. $6.40/lb for boudin? good lord. how is it?

maybe if more places pop up not in the warehouse district prices will come down.

They get it from somewhere in the laffy area so its good....haven't been there in a few years...I kind of like the fact that I have to travel to places like Best Stop...it makes me more excited for my laffy work trips.

Well, I stopped by yesterday and picked up a link - I was shocked when he said, $3.55, but I paid and brought it home - he asked me if I wanted smoked or regular, but then realized they were out of regular so I got smoked. It was good. Price was high, but I guess that is due to the fact that he gets it in Lafayette.
Sure seems like someone down here would know how to make good boudin - but I guess Laf. has better.
