I know he hasn't played much, but he's looked very good so far. I believe he'll be a good replacement for Dickson next year. He has gained about 40 or more lbs since switching to tight end from WR and he still appears ver mobile.

He's going to be a big part of the offense next year..I think Jefferson, enjoys throwing the ball to him.

Yeah, I wonder if he might get moved back to WR, since we lose LaFell after this year. With TT, RR, and DP at WR, man that is one intimidating crew for 2010. To me he still looks too lean for an every down TE...a little light in the pants still. No way he's playing at 240lbs. I'll buy more like 220-225lbs. He looks to have a Larry Fitzgerald type of build. Anyone know how fast he is? The kid's flashed good hands this season when his number has been called. I'm excited to see his progress in the lineup.

You can't keep a straight face and tell me DP is 240lbs and LF is 215lbs. I got a number for a good optometrist.

He is 240..brother was there for the weigh-ins..one of the 12 team docs..one of the first things I asked him...true HT/WTs, he said the one on lsusports.net is correct.

So don't know where he puts it all, but he is 240lbs

He looks like a beast just from a physical looks standpoint. He reminds me of David Boston when he was at Ohio State - looks wise.

Get him involved. Teach him.

Next year:

WR - Tolliver (he'll be back)
WR - R Randle
WR - Whoever steps it up during camp
TE - Peterson

Mitch Joseph is situational like Joe Domingeaux was...not your every down TE. Peterson is going to have to stay in that role.

What makes you say these things? Dickson is one of the finest pass-catching tight ends we've had in years, and he's caught 12 passes this year!

Throw him the damn ball!

He is listed in Scout as having 4.55 speed at the 40. That was when he was under 200 lbs. I don't know if the weight gain affected his speed at all. He's very lean and has a strong lower body so I'm sure he's at least that fast.

not saying you are wrong, but 6' 4" and 220 is pretty slim isn't it? i can't picture how he has looked on the field.

I hope this move happens. this guy is a die hard tiger fan and hard nosed football player. Our coaches need to put him in a position to contribute and fight for us. I dont see him making an impact at DE.
