Band marches down the hill

Band sings Alma Mater after game
(Wasn't quite ready when they started so I missed the very beginning, sorry.)

You must be very proud.

My nephew plays in the Brother Martin band (Trombone and Baritone) and was at the game with me. I brought him around to watch the band at the end of the game. He thoroughly enjoyed it.

Beyond proud. He's been my game companion for 15 years (started taking him to games when he was 4) and he always wanted to be in the band.

He says he still can't beleive it when he steps out on the field. I was watching him wait on the sidelines for the halftime show to start and he looked up at me and waved...I swear, I almost squirted out a tear!

Tell him to savor and enjoy it to the max now, because after he graduates it will never be the same going back into Tiger Stadium and having to just sit there as a "Civilian." Just not the same. Depending on how much of an LSU fan he is and how much he's into the entire marching band/drum corps thing, it's worse the more years you play in TB.

I'm still "Haunted" by it some 27 years after I graduated. (Kind of like what John Ed Bradley wrote about in his book)

BTW, Mandeville or Fontainbleau High grad? What Instrument?.........

In the Swor days (60's, 70's), we did the double time from Band Hall to the stadium. Had to be in shape, LOL.

This is my daughter's first year in Tiger Band. Very proud of her. I get to see her from my seats in the lower south before pre game. She described the Florida pre game as the most exciting moment of her life. Thanks for sharing the video.

Ditto. I guess this must be how the kids from "Menudo" felt when they were kicked out at age 16.
