The Monday nighter in '06 brought tears to my eyes, so yes

If they make it to the Super Bowl then yes, but now really doesn't mean anything yet.. Yes i know they are 6-0, but there is still 10 games left!

yes, particularly on 9/25/2006.
And real men aren't afraid to cry or admit when they cry. I cried last week when my dog died, and I still get teary eyed when I think of the old guy.

I cried a little as the clock was winding down in the NFC Divisional playoff game against the Eagles.

If they win the SB there will be a lot of grown men crying down in the French Quarter after the game. I'm sure I'll be one of em.

I shed a tear when we lost to the Bears in the nfc championship game. To finally be that close and lose.....

I'll cry when they are introduced as the NFC champs in the Superbowl.

Made a little correction for you.

I was getting teary-eyed during the first half of the Giants game. As we were scoring at will and just playing outright phenomenal, it really hit me that there is something special about this year's team and winning a Super Bowl this year is very attainable. There are fans who have endured more agony and frustration than me (my first memory of watching the Saints was around 1990. I was 5 at the time), but I've been through roughly 20 years of inconsistency and mostly losing. There's something different about this year that wasn't there in 1991, 1992, 2000, or even 2006. Maybe it's the teams "swagger" or the fact that all the pieces of the puzzle seem to be in place to win the Big One...I don't know. But every Sunday as I watch the Saints win with such authority, I can't help myself but grin from cheek to cheek. If I want a guarantee cry, I'll watch this video.

Guys it's a GAME. You may be crying b/c you are from NO and lost your home / lifestyle / displaced / and the Saints remind you of N.O., but crying about the outcome of a game when you are not a kid is just silly. When something tragic happens in life it brings reality to the outcome of sporting events. I could care less if LSU or the Saints ever won another game as long as my child (2yr old)recovered from Leukemia. That should put it in perspective.

So did I, when #26 made the first down and the clock was ticking down. I was like, we are going to the NFC Championship.

I completely respect where you are coming from, and what you are saying... However, i am not going to say that shedding a tear over a sports team is silly.
When you are so passionate about a team, that you physically feel better when they win, and physically hurt when they lose. You are so wrapped up with every story, and you hang on every word Drew Brees says... That sort of passion, indicates that you love something and are committed. You want to see what you are passionate about win and succeed. Expecially if what you are passionate about has been pushed around and failed so many times, i think it is ok to shed a tear..
