November 18th LSU vs Ole Miss
We went into overtime to win, but the stadium was dead all night.

November 23, 1963. LSU 20 Tulane 0. Stadium only about half full, and almost no cheering at all.

How about the first half of the Troy game last season? I think everybody was in shock.

funny you should say Nov 18 against Ole Miss in OT because thats the game i took all my Austin friends to to experience Death Valley. They said (and continue to say) whats the big deal - its the most overrated stadium in the country. It doesn't matter if i bring up the fact that Ole Miss was not ranked and we were not ranked highly etc

It was my first game there I was a little let down. However late in the game down a score we had them backed up to the student section. It got pretty loud they had like two false starts in a row.

had to be Bama in 02. Cold and the only time we crossed midfield was with Brady James on a fake punt.

vs. Tenn the Monday night game that was after Katrina. That was one weird game all the way around. No tailgating. Students studying in the library. The second half you could hear a pin drop. Everybody, including the fans and they band, just hit a wall.

Yeah. Pretty quiet. I didn't move or say anything for like 3 min... Just had my palms on top of my head. Starring at the field.

I remember that game well...glad I bought a sweatshirt before the game. The highlight was the tailgating, because it was all over after that...we simply didn't show up on the field...

App. St. last year. We had a hurricane on the way and a 10:00 am start. It was the only time I wished I was watching the game at home.

My 14-year old daughter came down with a major case of the flu during that game. I knew she was sick when she asked to go home. She never wants to leave a game early.

LSU vs Notre Dame in Nov. 1997. Lost 24-6 in a cool rainy afternoon, boring as hell.

In '01 FL went up 21-3 in the first quarter, place almost emptied right there.
