Also, an opportunity to get some yellow flags for pass interference on these pass routes.

With SEC refs in T- Town? Are you serious?

I know it will be a great game, but I promise the refs will decide the game. I'm ordinarily not a conspiracy theorist, but the fact that the SEC wants Alabama v Fla. in Atlanta can't be ignored.

Bottom line:

Defense

1. disguise blitz packages
2. keep 8 in the box to stop the run
3. man to man, make McElrory beat you

Offense

1. Can't run up the middle. Establsih seal blocks on ends and work the outside in the running game.
2. Use Shepard in passing game
3. Stay out of 3rd and longer than 3.
4. Special Teams, Special Teams!!

All good points, but #2 is iffy. You better bet your arse Saban will be ready for this. His defense is damn disciplined and will not be fooled off of coverages.

I think I'd try to use the recent noteriety about the officiating. If Saban's CB's still like to get physical with the receiver early in the routes, try to do something to make a show of it - get tangled up, get "knocked down" by them, get into a little scuffle, something. (For a couple of these might want to make sure it's not our top receivers if things get too out of hand).

It's a long shot but it might just get the referees looking at some holding or interference that you know will be going on.
