Goal line offense

It seemed for a few years, we frequently ran a play where the QB and FB started right as in an option, and the QB would toss the ball to the TB who went left, often untouched, or one on one with one D back.
Has that play been used all season? It seemed very effective.

I think in principle this would be a good type play for this offense. The line is improving, but still doesn't hold blocks for all that long. Plays like the double reverse to Lafell this past Saturday are not likely to work because they take too long to develop and there is too much penetration into the backfield making the ball carriers have to run deeper in the backfield. It seems like a play like you're mentioning, where the action is like a very quick developing reverse would likely yield more positive results. The oline and other players wouldn't need to hold their blocks as long.

if i'm thinking of the play you're talking about, we ran it once, if not several times against Miss St and KW got thrashed for lost yards. i guess it hadn't worked as well because the interior running game hasn't been as affective as in previous years.
