I will argue that bama was better last year.

lsu pushed them to the limit and into OT.

Our defense was absolutley horrid but still played on pure athleticism alone. Our D is much, much better this year.

Our offense gave the game away last year. Our offense does not give the ball away and is getting better each week.

our team is more battle tested. They relish the chance to play great teams.

Their offense does not have the ability to come from behind if they get there. THey can not pick up huge chunks of yards like they could last year with sara jesica.

Saban sucks after bye weeks and bowl games. monty gave us the blueprint.

their redzone offense is a joke 109th in the nation. I don't think gmac can get it done. THey have not seen a defense with the speed of ours. You could say tennessee, i will take ours over thiers, and our offense too.

The knock against us? It's an away game, and i hate to say it but the refs

Our team knows how to win close ones but this won't matter, they are on borrowed time. THey are not scoring like they used to in the air. They are one dimensional, and are ripe for the picking.

Like i said our team knows how to fight and win close ones, but that won't matter because it won't be close. I promise you saban is concerned when he starts going over the film.

That would be nice. I'm optimistic, but even I say something like 21-17 is more likely.

....and don't forget, there is a "want" on this team.

LSU is 10-4 at Bama since my birth. (Bama is 11-3-1 at LSU during the same span.)

Ironically, we each have success on each others field.

I agree with you, TIGERS WIN.

i telling you it will happen.

ever watch waterboy and that girl tells adam sandler what the score of the game WILL be? well this is the way it will be

It also sets up nicely with tulane this week. It just all looks to neat and pretty.

Our athletes are winners and will get it done. I see leadership busting at the seams on that team

Watch out we may have? dare i say it??

All the talk about last year is very irrelevant. Our team is totally different and so is alabama's. They have good leadership and we will see what our leadership is like in a tough environment. If we can stop the run, we can win. If we let Ingram run well, it will be tough. We will not score very easily on Alabama, we need good defense and a few breaks.

Thats just it. Bama has peaked. We are getting better and better. Every game this year we have improved. With what bama brings to the table i don't see how we lose with a good gameplan, which i am sure we will have. How much time will be spent planing for tulane

I am telling you it wont be that close.

that's more true than people really know and it extends even beyond their own games. The calls went in our favor against Auburn. Why? Because Bama really NEEDS to keep Auburn down. IMO if you want to know which way calls are going to go in any SEC game, ask yourself which way is most beneficial to Alabama or which team would a Bama fan like to see win that particular game. That will give you your answer as to which way a game will be called. Whenever you play Bama you know you have to beat not only Bama but also the refs.

ok. our front seven with our improved linebackers should take care of the running game i believe. We have good leadership as well. we have the good defense.

And do you think gmac vs our secondary does not have mistakes written all over it? I think it does.

everyone was blowing bama before this week. Now everyone sees all the chinks in the armor. I sure as hell do.

I will take our secondary over bamas anyday, and our wideouts and jj will get it done.

That is what the aubun game was about. Preparing for future games. Oh, the running game will open up now. Watch. Auburn gameplaned on a running game and could not adjust.

now they will have to plan for both opening the run

don't get too fricking excited yet.

1) Bama will get its much-needed off-week this upcoming week, and will have 2 weeks to prepare for what STILL is a schitzo offense that churns then clunks - even against mediocre defenses
2) Make no mistake - Bama's defense will be the best we face all year, including FLA's.
3) Bama's offense is much better - more physical and more balanced than any team we've faced, including FLA's. Bama will open the playbook against us just like we did versus Auburn.

I am an optimist, but Saban will hold nothing back and his boys will be "fresh", just like our guys were this weekend versus Auburn. It is still going to be a "herculean task". If we will, though, it will be an "epic victory" - maybe the best ever - for Miles & Company. No one gives us a chance, which would make it that much more special - on their turf! Geaux Tigers!!

Do you remeber Clubber Lang (Mr T) from Rocky III?

"Balboa's so predictable and stupid, the man comes straight ahead. He's taylor made for me, and he's gonna get hurt!"

That's Alabama's offense going against LSU's D.

Bama won't score more than 13 on us...we'll score more than that on them.

If our D can get some turnovers to give us a short field, we'll win it. We can handle their O.

some close calls went our way against Auburn. The kind of calls you expect to see Alabama get but the kind we almost never get.
