So, let the debate begin. Auburn and LSU have been leading for both their services. Does anything change after watching this game.

The question is does Auburns offensive suckitude owe its origins to a shitty scheme or sub-par personnel?

I don't think we will find out any time soon.

I think LSU should be a high favorite for the both of them; After what they did tonight.!

Why would Lache come to LSU when he can go to a program with massive offensive innovation like Auburn??

You are just envious that he can make such ludicrous statements and not bother to come back to defend it OR use a straw man argument to go off on a tangent about some stupid Kieland touches or 3rd and Chavis.

is Trovon a 'must-have'?
with our general preference for big WRs, i'd say no

He would be a great pick up but "must have" in my opinion means if we dont get him our program will take a step back... That being said I dont think our program would suffer if we didnt. More of the fact of losing someone in our state would be more upsetting and something to look at FWIW

yeah i think the worry with trovon is image more than worry about what we'd do with him on the field

Aren't we going for some small speedy WR's as well as the TTollivers and Randles as well?
If so, is T. Reed the best available option for that Small Speedy Spread type wr?

i still have no clue what he was doing on offense the first 2 games. it was u-g-l-y
Posted on 10/25/09 at 10:42 am to SlowFlowPro
Our small speedy WR just committed to Nebraska. LSU never offered.

Bingo. I could see them selling Lache on the ole PT pitch, if they can convince him their scheme is solid. I imagine Malzahn will keep talking about DMac and Felix.
Of course, we can offer the same thing, really. We have no backs with any experience coming back, minus Ridley with his very limited experience.

No flame but I really think Lache is still going to choose Auburn. PT and he has developed a great relationship with Curtis Luper.
you know, "The best trip ever", "Auburn has what I want", etc. Unless he doesn't mean what he says, I think he's Auburn's to lose.

You may be right. However,
Craig Loston, on his commitment to Clemson
Janzen Jackson, on his commitment to LSU
Of course, Loston did the right thing by being upfront about his change of mind.
quote:
I loved everything about the visit and the school. I wanted to see the hill. Thats the first thing I wanted to see. I just feel like that is where I want to be. I feel at home at Clemson. I know I will get a chance to play early. They didn't know anything about me, and I put myself out there to them. I like the way they play, I like their style and I think I would fit in well with their defense. My coach talked with Coach (Billy) Napier and he told me to call coach Bowden. I called him and he wasn't available so I called him back in 10 minutes. I told him I wanted to come to Clemson. He was pretty excited. I am going to take some other visits, but I am firm. I think Clemson is going to be my final destination. I am excited. I am ready to go. I can't wait to get there."
Craig Loston, on his commitment to Clemson
quote:
"I liked LSU's tradition. The tradition really is rich there. It's not too far from home and that's a big plus. They just won a national championship. They really showed a lot of interest in recruiting me. It wasn't just nonchalant. It was real interest. I liked that about them. I've been a fan of (LSU) for a long time. They have a great athletic program. There's no question about how great their program and academics are."
