i can go through the red sox lineup right now if you would like me to and you would find maybe 3 guys, and thats including lester, that were developed

lester, pedroia, ellsbury

thats it

yankees have cano, jeter, posada, gardner, etc

you dont have to argue. the red sox are hypocrites for hating the yankees for spending money and buying teams

Obviously you have no idea why Red Sox Nation hates the Yankees. Therefore, my argument is over.

Last time I checked, we weren't the ones tearing down our Stadium to build a new one, and then charge our fans up to $2500 just to sit behind home plate. And since I'm not a member of the Red Sox organization, I can only speak as a fan. And I know we are more loyal than Yankees fans. You only pull out your pinstripes when their winning.

those prices are only outrageous right now bc of the current economic times. there was no way to know that would happen when the yankees were setting the prices

and if boston was smart, they would build a new stadium, they could make a ton more money

and for the record, i am not a yankees fan

They are smart. And they still choose to keep Fenway right where it is. Thank you for proving my point on why the Sox are not like the Yanks.

Yeah, you go out and acquire players, that's what all teams do. The downfall the past 10 years for the yanks has been their inability to hold onto and develope any players

UNLIKE NEW YORK, Boston doesn't care about building a new park because they believe in tradition. No one wants a new stadium in Boston NO ONE... because fenway is just as much a part of the red sox as any player or any team. Williams and his crew make plenty of cash with the sox with merchandising, ticket sales (how many years in a row have we sold out every game now?) etc so why would you tear down the best part of the team?

Could they tear it down and build a nicer stadium and make more money? YES

Will they? no

because when it comes to Fenway, money isnt a priority

money > tradition

especially when you are already in an arms race in an uncapped sport

is it really a big deal to sell out a 40 thousand seat stadium. or like 37k or whatever it is
