I grabbed him after the blow up game, but now he's been named "STARTER" and Patrick Crayton is no more.
quote:

Miles Austin has overtaken Patrick Crayton to be the Cowboys' starting flanker.
The depth chart was adjusted during Dallas' bye. Austin was the first-team receiver opposite Roy Williams at Monday's practice, and will see a major bump in snaps as an every-down player. Previously, he only played in three-receiver packages. Crayton is now strictly a slot receiver and should be dropped in 12-team leagues. Austin's promotion is excellent news for the entire offense. He is one of Dallas' few skill players with big-play ability.

Is he for real, or is it just a flash-in-the-pan type of pick-up? Keep him or see if anyone bites on a trade offer?

I got Boldin,Jennings,Holmes,MSW,Austin....Is Austin an every week starter for my team?

miles austin will be valuable if he can be the deep threat this team needs

you know romo loves to favre it up and try to go downfield a lot

as a cowboys fan, i hope hes not bc this team needs to return to being a dominant rushing team, which is what they are. garrett is trying to force the ball downfield. crayton has been garbage though, so austin really isnt a bad player to own imo

I'm playing against Romo this week, so I'm thinking of starting him since Boldin's ankle is questionable against the NYG.

Can I not sit Boldin because of an ankle injury?

I'm thinking about the same thing

but then again... I wonder if Kurt Warner watches tape of the Saints game and sees their secondary get exposed...

I'm going to wait for more information on the extent of the injury

Who is more desirable? Miles Austin or Roy Williams?

I'm thinking if Austin does not divert some defensive pressure off Williams, neither Williams nore Crayton are worth owning at the present tme. Certainly if Dallas starts clicking, they can both gain some worth pretty quickly. But I really do not see it.

I think Austin is gonna have another couple of games with 4-6 catches and a few long TD's. He's def worth a try in 12-14 team leagues, that's for sure.

He's also gonna disappoint with drops like T.O. used to do. But Austin is even a more high risk high reward situation.
