How do you see LSUs future?

Everyone knows the problems we have had recently: QBs, OL, maybe OC, last year it was the D and QBs. Lets put it aside for a minute. How much confidence do you have in The hat, the wizzard, and the cheif, to get LSU back to the 03-07 form?

Do you think these guy can get LSU back to 1 or 2 lose seasons consistently?
Do you think we will hover around 3-4 lose seasons consistenlty, with a 10-2 sprinkled in?
Do you think we are doomed and will stay around 7-5 until new faces come in?

I think they can get us to 3-4 lose seasons with a 10-2 sprinkled in when the schedules cooperates and we have some seasoned playmaking veterans. What say you?

I see a 4 year pattern emerging starting from the saban days. Records around 8-4 with a young QB, growing to 10-2 with a NC in New Orleans. Record falls off slightly the following year, and possibly stays the same for a year or improves until another NC in New Orleans. I can see this team improving, but possibly still being 9-3 this season. I see a 10-2 or 11-1 record next year with our players having more experience, and I see JJ and RS and RR with alot of experience by the time the NC comes back to New Orleans and we take it again. Repeat Cycle.

Yes. If we don't have to kick anymore QBs off the team and set us back 2 years

QB production will be key. Also the coaches must be willing to make adjustments and changes when mistakes/poor play is obvious.

Nice of you to join us, Future.

I agree, however, do you think our coaches will make the proper adjustments?

I do know that even if LSU wins every game we are doomed to hear from shite like you that something is wrong.

I believe our current staff can consistently produce 10-2 seasons.

10-2 season may or may NOT be enough to consistently win championships in the SEC.

For example win 10 - but lose 2 to say Ark and Bama and you're looking at second or third place in the SEC WEST!

I can live with 10-2 and no championships personnally -- but "LSU fans" in general will not... see Charly Mac ... win 'em all but Bama -- get run off.... sad.

Hopefully we've learned ... but it's not obvious that anyone has... 10-2 is DAMN good in this league year in and year out. Winning the West and playing in the SECCG is NOT a given for anybody... it's an honor.

I think the West is only going to get tougher becasue EVERY team has a good coach and is getting better... no slouches ... even the MS teams will be tough in the next few years and AR will be tough too... not to mention Bama. Auburn will be tough too... there are NO EASY games in the West now.

So -- anyone that think LSU (or anyone) should dominate is simply dreaming.

If LSU can win 9, 10 or 11 games consistently for the next 10 years they will be one of if not THE most successful program in the country while playing in the single most difficult division there is ... bar none, IMHO. That is pretty darn good and it's very possible in my opinion.

If we are lucky and good enough to win the West say 1 out of every 3 years, I think we are doing extremely well!!!

With Les and Crowton calling the shots we will be and 8-4 ro 9-3 team. We will enjoy an occational upset of Bama and Florida (never both in the same year). LSU will compete with Arkansas and Ol Miss for 3rd place in the SEC west.

No more SEC or NC championships, but a few good years of 10 or 9 wins with a BCS bowl, sprinkled in with some 8 win seasons where we beat up an ACC team in a minor bowl.

If his tenure at Okie State is any indication, 500 in conference and a spoiler role.
