From a LSU Football Fan.

I know I will ruffle some feathers with this post. I have been following LSU Football for over
60 years. I can remember when I was just a lad at 6 years old sitting with my Dad listening to LSU play on the radio on a Saturday night. I remember the Billy Cannon run against Ole Miss.
I never saw my Dad so excited. Later on we got our first tv in 1955. Boy howdy LSU on tv.
Getting to my point after all these years going through the DiNardo and Hallman years it was bad
real bad but we expected some of the losses but
now LSU has some of the most Elite players in history of LSU football. I realize LSU was playing the Gators who is sitting @ #1 in the football poles. But to my knowledge this was the most dissapointing loss that I can ever remember. The defense Played a good game. But the offense looked like they had never prepared for the game. The QB play was so sad it look like the kid had a clue as to what was going on. He started out good last year and seemed to have it together until recently. The need someone to work with this kid. He has the ability but at times he looks like a deer in headlights. Les Miles is the man responsible for this teams play.
If we lose to Auburn I have wasted 60 years on a team that I have loved with all my heart and I cannot continue to watch such a talented team go to waste. My heart goes out to this team I love these guys. I just wish they could finish out this year without a loss. My apologies for being so long with this. I just got through watching the replay of the Florida game and had to to do something to relieve the pain of the team not having a leader on the field.

Put down the "don't kill yourself books" you'll be ok.

you obviously have a short term memory, drink too much, or have alzheimers.

I'm sure Tiger Nation won't miss you

The offensive talent you refer to are no longer on the team. We have lost many key players from the classes of 05, 06 and 07. They guys you see starting should be in backup roles this year.

wasted 60 years of your life......what a pitiful existence you must lead.
OR
expectations lead to disappointment. maybe you were too high on this team in the beginning?

Were you in a coma during Stovall's tenure and throughout most of the 1990's ?
Time for a retirement home.

You really showed your immaturity with that well thought out response.
This is a forum where guys/gals express their thoughts and concerns about LSU athletics. He was simply stating his and you spout off that youthful comment.
Steele don't worry about it you probably shite turds older than this guy.

+1. Also, this guys an idiot. Pinning 60 years on one game, which if we lose we are still 5-2, is stupid. Not saying that 5-2 is great, because we know we could be better.
I call BS on this guy.

Tennessee 2005 was about 1000 times more disappointing. Do you remember Arkansas 2007?
There were far more disappointing loses that you don't need to look through 60 years to get to.
We played one of the top defenses in the nation, with probably the fastest set of skill people in the country on both sides of the ball. They are also led by a freakin Heisman winner.
This game might make top 10 disappointing this decade... maybe.

Anyone who makes the following comment is a fricking moron:

If you agree with him, then you are a fricking moron too.

He might be and I may disagree with him but I'm not going to get on a computer and attack the guy because of his age and the diseases that occur later in life b/c I'll be there one day. The ability to refrain from your type of replies and name calling comes with age and maturity.

The old frick got on here (used a computer and internet message board) and "attacked" the LSU team. Fair game for the demented, or more likely just plain stupid, poster.

This is obviously some kid trolling. Nothing on his profile except his birthday Jan 1 1942. 70 year old men don't just show up on this site and set their favorite team logo to something other than LSU. Should be able to narrow down who it is just from that. That and the bad spelling.

So you have been through the worsat eras of LSU football, yet are unhappy right now?
Posted on 10/15/09 at 7:59 am to JustSmokin
Before you critisize someone for the way they feel you should understand that a lot of people that are LSU fans are in the upper age bracket and should demand a better response with a little more understanding than you are giving this person. This person may be living each day so that they can watch or listen to LSU football. And for those of you who have no understanding what it is to be the age of this person no doudt is and more than likely has a problem should have more compasion for them. One day you will be there as for as age goes and then you will understand what it is like to be there. I can not for the life of me understand why yall have to be such arseholes when it comes to showing a little compasion. Before those of you who are around that age like myself should have a little understanding also. I don't expect the younger ones to understand but, you older ones should have the understanding where this person is coming from.
