JJ is done. I can see in the way he plays. He is tentative and scared of making a mistake. He can't make decisions. A QB like that is worthless to his team. Either he pulls himself together or we are going to implode like last year.

This is why you absolutely must work in Lee and Shepard. We might beat Auburn and Tulane and go to Bama at 7-1 ranked around #5. EVERYTHING will be on the line. A tentative, scared JJ will get eaten alive by a defense that made Jevan Snead and Ryan Mallet look like Jr. High QB's. Lee can move the team with his arm and Shepard can move the team with his legs. Is the possibility of an interception worse than 5-6 sacks per game? Against Bama, with Mt. Cody lining up over T-Bob, how many sack do you think they will have against JJ? Either we make the change or we are looking at 8-4, best case scenario. Sure, there is a HUGE downside to JL, but is JJ really going to get better? He's lost his confidence, and that scares me more than anything.

I like Lee versus Bama for one reason- he saw them last year.

Lee sucks and will only throw pick 6's and lose games for us

see how stupid that sounds

If our offense goes to a true spread offense keep JJ.

If we do ANY play action passes off of chuck the truck JL must be the quarterback.

yes the possibility of an interception is wosre than 5-6 sacks. After an Int the other team gets the ball. After a sack the Offense get another try.

Funny. I heard the same thing last year about Lee. And that we HAD to play Jefferson soon. My, how things have come full circle.

That was last year. Last year. LAST YEAR.

We don't know if there's still a downside since he hasn't played this year except for the TD pass against Vanderbilt. At least there's the distinct possibility that we'll have some semblance of a college level passing offense if he's playing.........

pretty obvious why you would want us to start JL with the Alabama game coming up. Yea that's the ticket, start JL. Sorry but we are not throwing the towel in on this season quite yet.

That is just what he needs to break out of a slump

Players and the team get crucified on this board after a victory, how can he not be afraid of making a mistake?
