Not blaming LM, but Laney makes the point that no qbs were recruited the year before RP or the year after RP. Some rantard was making a similar point about the O-line.

Not sure the reason why not before (Saban knows best), but I can understand why we couldn't land a QB worth a flip after signing the #1 QB recruit in the nation.
Not sure how many top QB's would have enough confidence to think they could overtake the most highly rated Lousiana HS QB to come along ever.

we had another QB coming in 06, Alex Cate, but things went bad somewhere with his recruitment. there was some talk that it was the flirtation with Tebow.
