Are you frickin kidding me? How can ANY quarterback be successful if he is given predictable playcalling and an awful offensive line!!!? Jefferson is not seeing anyone open so he is holding the football. I definitely don't have a problem with this! Better than throwing pick sixes! If the opposing defenses didnt know every play that was coming, he would be alot more successful! And all this coming to the line and changing the play BS is garbage! What ever happened to getting in a huddle, calling a play, and running it!!!

The meerkat offense is unbearable. It seems to be in vogue this year.

Perhaps we wouldn't be so predictable with a QB who knows how to release the ball.

We had recievers open plenty of times when JJ took his ten yard sacks.

jj could be behind the indy colts' line with jerry rice and randy moss at receiver, and he would still take 8 sacks per game.will never be a good qb

It wouldn't be if JJ knew how to read it, the thing is JJ isn't the one making those check-offs, it's coming from the sidelines, so they are checking off a play, and I don't think JJ really understands why some of the time. If he was the one making the checks, he would know why, and where the hole was going to be.

The call for Jarrett Lee isn't necessarily a mark on Jefferson. It's the idea that things couldn't possibly move more slowly for the team on offense, so why not try something new.

Thats garbage. Even the great Tim Tebow lost 4 games his first year as a starter.

Yep.

Doug Moreau said it best last night. He just flat out looked uncomfortable back there, especially in the shotgun.

Despite the pick 6 fest, we did score points with Lee last year.

You're right...it would definitely be quicker - they would be quicker off the field as soon as JL through another interception, probably for a touchdown. I do agree that JJ has to stop taking "coverage sacks" - throw the ball into the tuba section, if neccessary

I see no difference between an interception down the field and a three and out. So what do we really have to lose by putting Lee in the game?

We have only taken coverage sacks with JJ cause he can't read the field to save his life, we have athletes that get open, JJ just seems to have a hard time finding them.

The offensive line blocked fairly well last night.

Agreed. And it is hard to call them coverage sacks when receivers are running open most every play-JJ just isn't seeing them.

Ummm...five games?

I'm certainly not saying that JJ hasn't made his share of mistakes. But when you have five linemen that can't seem to block three people rushing the passer, any QB would have to do something they really don't want to do. JJ takes the sacks, JL throws interceptions.
