Alright so i do not claim to be a football or qb expert but what it looks like to me is that JJ is afraid to take a chance and only throws if a WR is wide open. On the other hand Lee takes too many chances and tries to force some balls. We need to find a happy medium. Is there any chance Chris Garrett sees PT? Not saying he should just asking for yall's opinion.

Because he has thrown how many interceptions this year? Sometimes players improve from year to year.

dude i can only base my opinions on what i have seen so far. I have yet to see an improvement by Lee and neither have you so I'm not sure what you're getting at. I never said Lee shouldn't get a shot I was just asking about chris garrett so slow down a bit there buddy.

He's definitely not taking any chances, and that is keeping us in many games, including last night. Look, I don't think JJ is an outstanding QB, but he may be the best we have. Another thing: LSU's untimely penalties on offense but us in the worst position possible - having to use a 7-step drop, deep routes, because we needed to overcome 3rd and long over and over again. I'm not making any excuses for JJ but we were forced to use the weakest part of our playbook.

Have we had an opportunity to see Lee play this year? We have no idea if he has improved or not.

So if the other 4 QB's go down to injury we play Murphy or Reuben at QB?

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to suggest Garrett. Put in Lee! Put in Shep! Put in Garrett! Back-up QBs are the most popular guys on the team.

I just think that if i was a DC preparing for LSU i would run zone the whole game and force JJ to throw through windows, something he is not comfortable doing. It just seems to me that by now the coaches would have worked with him in practice at throwing the ball and giving your reciever a chance sometimes. I mean we have 6'4" recievers.

a lot of people are just asking for JL to get a series or 2. maybe he can provide a spark.

JJ is just losing yardage, so its not like we are losing much by playing JL some.

Lee has shown all of last year he can't look of the primary receiver. JJ has yet to improve. Shep is not an every down QB. Yes, let put in Chris!

This is always true. However, Jefferson's play is hurting our team. It's not like he's just not doing anything special in the mold of a Matt Mauck or Matt Flynn. His play has been worse than Marcus Randall. He's scared out there. No doubt about it. He's hurting the team. So it's time to make a change.

And I have resisted this thought process up until now but he has not improved. He may have regressed. I'm not in favor of Garrett or Shepard but I think we give Lee a shot.

UGA showed how to mess JJ up in the second half.

Every half decent team from here on will exploit that if they don't fix that in the next two weeks.

you = missing the point

our current quarterback is playing more like akili smith, so its only natural to give the backup qb a shot.

especially considering the fact our offense is ranked 109th in the country.

lee has talent, and i for one would like for him to be given the opportunity to show whether he has or has not improved since last year.

He should be the starter. Lee, Jefferson, and Sheppard can't do this, let's get this done.
