I did.

50 yard line seats: Check

Good friend with me at the game: Check

Electric Atmosphere: Check

Watching one of the best players in CFB history healthy and playing his heart out: Check

Underdog Tigers hanging with a team and said player above that they didn't match up well with: Check

Realizing our defense IS greatly improved over last year: Check

Realizing if our offense clicks just a "little", we could be a 10 win team: Check

Wife emailed a picture of my 20 month old son to me during the game chilling at home in his LSU jersey laying on his LSU blanket: Check

Got home safe and am prepared to yell at Auburn with all I've got in two weeks: Check

Realizing today we can still win the West and maybe have another shot at UF: Check

Really, did anyone enjoy last night? Also, do you not realize that the season is already halfway over?

Oh how time flies....

even without LSU winning, it was an ugly game

not ugly like the sloppy/horrible UGA game, but it was bad

both teams playing conservative and boring, mostly running up the gut

Enjoyed the atmosphere.

I We lost power with about 12 minutes left in the 4th, it didn't come on for another hour.

The way our offense was playing, knew LSU didn't have a shot at coming back.....so I actually felt much more at ease not watching the final quarter.

I was actually relieved to see the final score wasn't a total blowout when power returned.

Indeed.

True, with one team being able to do it at will....

Either way, I had a good night.

I enjoyed it...but I don't watch LSU football for some sort of analytical dissection of X's and O's, that's what the NFL is for.

I didn't realize we were eliminated from all contention last night.

How did that happen?

what was scary was the TD drive when UF didn't just run it up the middle. it was a shot across the bow

Scary? Yes.

However, it was their ONLY TD DRIVE, and they scored said TD with an obvious offensive PI.

To me, this is a clear moral victory for the defensive team.

Enjoyed immensely. Saw a lot of improvement on defense. Florida is what we thought they were. Hope to play them again. They just have more experience at QB, and we are still making some mistakes we shouldn't.

I don't disagree there. Like I said in my Crowton complaint thread, UF 2009 would beat LSU 2009 20 straight times if we played. Last night would be our best showing.

No, but I'm trying to be positive.

I knew before this "reloading" season we would lose this game. The fact that it was 13-3 thrills me to death.

I hear ya. Wasn't that enjoyable to watch on TV, however. I hate CBS, their stupid theme music (which they played OVER pre-game), and Verne and Danielson. Could just slap Verne for chuckling about the non-call on the white boy grabbing the jersey. Want to see the coaches play to win, not to keep it close. That said, you're right, people are way too obsessive over a game and if you can't enjoy it, find a new hobby. But while you find enjoyment in the pleasures of life, which includes admiring the efforts of the opposing team, many folks on here actually take pleasure in ranting and criticizing.

It was an exercise in exasperation, but actually, I did.. and a lot more than my next door neighbor who is an Auburn alum and spent the 2nd half against Arkansas mowing and edging his lawn.

Hypothetically speaking: The good news is that on the offchance we make it to the SEC Championship game, it would almost be impossible to play shittier on offense than we did last night.

I'd imagine it was similar to the feeling I felt after the OSU-USC game. Disappointed we lost, but the atmosphere and how the action of the game went was awesome.

We are not going to the SECCG. We won't be able to score enough points to beat a good team.
