I won't mention the 90s, BUT

Do any of you people remember the multiple 3 loss seasons under Saban? The struggling offenses with inconsistent quarterbacks many years under Saban? The 3-2 bowl record under Saban? Getting blown out by Alabama in Tiger Stadium - at night?

OK - so this is no 07 team, but it is clearly also no 08 team. I'll take 05 and 06. With a very young, inexperienced quarterback what more should we expect - who would have predicted a better record than 9-3, 10-2 before the season?

This whole situation was predictable, look at the 05 recruiting class. It was sub par because Saban hung us out to dry. (BTW those of you who keep on praising Saban for all the great things he did for this program, which he did, lets not give him a pass for the damage he did in the way he left) Saban was a major cause of a sub par 05 class, and then our star recruit from that weak class turned out to be a thug and really set us back at least 2 years. Think about it, JJ is a number 3 QB this year if things go according to plan, instead he is starting and yes has a deer in the headlights look against top SEC teams. DUH!! The kid is all of 19 years old!

You guys need to get over yourselves and realize that it is still a great time to be a tiger!

There is no excuse for the performance of the Tigers. This is an example of the lack of coaching ability of "less smiles". He has no concept of leadership nor the proper use of raw talent others would die for!
