One of the most impressive things concerning the defense is that John Chavis is building it without burning the redshirt years off of Sam Montgomery, Craig Loston, Chris Davenport, Michael Brockers, Bennie Logan, Josh Johns, Kevin Minter, Lamin Barrow, Thaj Jones and Barkevious Mingo. The future looks great for LSU on defense and offense.
I know that I've posted this before.
It is fun to sit with a Recruiting Coordinator sometimes and talk.

Normally I agree the team is bigger than one person and we don't "need" anyone but with our thin-ness at DT, I think we need Freak.
It's not need as much as he's probably one of the top 15 or so prospects in the country for next year. Just look at his film.
There are other top DTs in state next year that can fill the need.
