Against Florida? I know that typically inclement weather benefits the slower, more conservative offense, but what do you guys think?

I can see it helping us by slowing down their speed on defense, but at the same time, with our options and running spreads could create serious fumble opportunities.

I think it helps due to the fact that we have played 3 out of 5 games in inclement weather already. I am not sure that Florida can say the same thing.

It hurts LSU and helps UF, especially if Tebow plays.

It doesn't matter, it will be raining on both teams.

Rain is usually a plus for the underdog.

Florida is much more profecient on the ground and relies much less on the pass than LSU.

One thing that hasnt been discussed much is how a wet ball might effect a team that runs the option as much a UF does. Getting a few turnovers would change the dynamics of thier offense IMO.

If we can somehow get last year's O-line back, I hope it pours.

If it is not raining too hard it is actually beneficial for the passing team. Receivers know where they are going while DBs must be more careful with their cuts.

I am like most and dont think it really affects either team too much. The biggest problem could be it reduces the amount of fans in the stands. I hope people bring their ponchos and tough it out. I am going to be pissed if I see empty seats.

It pisses me off to no end to see those empty seats on the west side nearly every game. If those blue haired bastards dont want to get wet, they need to sell or give away thier tickets.

It depends on the QB really. There are a lot of college signal callers that have trouble in the rain because of thier grips. It really seems to effect thier accuracy. I doubt TT is one of those. But in a hostile environment, agaisnt a swarming secondary, rain might be more of a negative if Tebow isnt the one delivering the passes. JMO.

LSU fans are a fickle bunch. In recent years, they seem to have become the true definition of "fair weather fans". I've never seen people make for the exits when it rains like I have in Tiger Stadium.
