Don't hate Eli, my BK QB. Well traded A.Rogers for Ronnie Brown.

Crushed this week, I also had S. Smith (Eli's guy) and SF Def.
It was ugly. 100pt win.

I am a huge Eli and Peyton hater. I hope we break Eli's hurt heel off and feed it to him.

Is there a more useless stat than passer rating?

Saves in baseball perhaps.

Peyton Manning:
1st in rating
1st in yards
1st in TDs (tied with Breesus)
2nd in completion %

All hail P Manning, who said this guy's prime is past him?

A NBCDFW.COM user forwarded an image purportedly showing Giants' quarterback Eli Manning's victory signature after the team defeated the Cowboys in Arlington on Sept. 20.

"See the picture of a concrete column in the visitor locker room in the new Cowboys stadium," the NBCDFW.com user wrote. "I heard the locker room was spat on and had many used jock straps hanging from the mirrors and other places too. What class."

The Cowboys have not responded to our questions on the authenticity of this message or information about the condition of the visitors' locker room after the Giants 33-31 victory, the first regular season game in the Cowboys new stadium.

His signing the wall is Bush league and classless. I don't see Drew Brees or Tom Brady doing somthing like that.

Of course I would expect nothing less from a guy who makes these commercials

Did you read the comments? Apparently it's fake.

You are aware that QB rating is a very, very flawed metric, right?

as with any statistic, it doesn't tell the whole story. However, it is not "very, very flawed" as you put it. It might not be prudent to use it as a measure of QB's say in the pre WC era, but as far as measuring current QB's, it's pretty solid

It doesn't take situations into account and, as you alluded to, it rewards QBs in certain systems.

For example, a guy like Matt Schaub looks great in terms of QB rating but, would you consider him to be the 7th best QB in the league at this point? Is he better than Philip Rivers or Tom Brady? QB rating says so. Granted, this is still a very small sample size, so...

Also, Kafka fell into the trap of trying to look at a statistic in a vacuum instead of looking at it in context. (Edited due to an error on my part)

It's early in the season. Besides, Eli Manning hasn't, to my knowledge, played a very good team.

Besides, the son of a bitch still has trouble throwing a tight spiral.

like i said, any statistic is misleading when looking at it in a certain context.

Bill Mueller won a batting title, but no one considers him one of the best hitters of his era

I went back to the thread where it was and it was someone else whom I confused you with.

My apologies. I'll edit my post accordingly.

Big FAIL. It is widely known that Steve Young has the highest career rating, and the highest season rating was Peyton Manning in his record shattering season.
