Thanks and Congrats to Charles Scott on the winning run. That was outstanding.

However, no one expected him to break a run like that. So my question is was Les going to be content w/ a 50-yd fieldgoal?

Also, in an obvious passing situation Miles wanted to run. So, was he that confident in the run game or did he not have any confidence in the pass game?

I know my thoughts on these questions, but would like to hear everyone else chime in.

You must not read the paper or this forum much...the original play was a play action pass.

Speak for yourself buddy. I called it. I said right after the play before that we wont need to worry about a FG because Scott was about to break one. And it happened the very next play. And there are people on this board that can vouch for it.

Good Lord, I hope not. And I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt until he says otherwise. But there was WAY too much time to be putting the entire game on such a long field goal attempt.

Good for you. But, percentages don't favor that play.

Scott made a great play and for that deserves all possible credit.

But, that's not the questions I posed.

JJ said play action pass was called---quoted in the Advocate, among other places. Saw it in several articles on Sunday...

frick no. You know a man like Miles likes his joker cards as well. He's playing with at least 53, perhaps 54...

pass was called. JJ said but when I get sacked we wont be in field goal range so he convinced them to run the ball.

Yes, and for the umpteenth time since he's been the coach at LSU, superior talent overcame bad coaching.
