i havent tailgated in a couple years, and i have some friends coming from florida so we decided to tailgate for florida. i went up there before the ull game and scouted for spots and we are planning on setting up across from the union, because it didnt seem like too many people were there. what id like to know is 1. what time do we need to set up friday? i hear around 430 but wanted to make sure. 2. what time does everyone start getting there friday morning? im gonna get there early, 7ish probably, to set up for the day and make sure no one moves my stuff. and 3. can we park a car out there friday night so we can run an extension if need be? or is it frowned upon. appreciate any responses.

You can get on campus any time after 4:30 Friday. Don't park you car like an idiot and you'll be fine. There's no way to really tell how your spot will look Saturday morning because we haven't had a game like this in 2 years. Get our there early.

Plus gameday will be right by the union! I would look for another spot probably around Nicholson and Nich. Extension.

Oh yeah, having Gameday on the Parade Grounds will clog up that entire side of campus. This guy might want to get out there around 6am Saturday.

with gameday it will be kinda tough on the parade grounds. there will still be some area in the middle though, because noone wants to carry all their stuff from the road to the middle of the grounds.

i really wish they would move it back to the PMAC. Probably the best backdrops for any College Gameday.

They didn't like our ability to hunt the studio hosts from our elevated stands.

When I am in town we always tailgate by Pleasant Hall next to the trees. It'll be a mad house this Saturday with Game Day, but if you can get there early, it's a great spot.

Yes. That was the greatest Gameday ever at lsu besides maybe Florida 97. Of course the golfballs been thrown for the 96 Bama game is why Gameday has a net around their set.

They had already scheudle a Veterans day function on the parade grounds that week.
LSU refused to move it.

I think that would interfere with TAF beer stands.

Is the Faculty Club Restaurant still open on the days of games? We would eat there once every fall and it is a great meal and very nice atmosphere.
