Hit him in the head

Don't hit him in the head, but break his chest bone. Realistically, play the pass more -- he will not run as much.

Whatever we did in 2007 will be fine.
Tebow passing
12-26 for 158 yards
Tebow rushing
16 attempts for 67 yards
Dupiclate that effort and we have a good shot at winning the game.

quote:$10 says its "Angry 84" Rahim Alem who sends Tebow to heaven
that the next clean hit on that guy could actually end his life?

Our job is not to protect their quarterback. That is the job of their line and the officials.
I would think that if he plays that have to keep him from running with the ball. Therefore, we can probably put more back in coverage and contain him in the pocket and hope his depth perception is off. Alternatively we can rush him and try to inflict damage, but I doubt we do this to a college kid.

Florida's bread and butter is the running game and Hernandez. I would have Peterson on Hernandez and coleman spying Tebow. Sell out to stop the run. If we do that, then I think we can win, as they don't have a player like Green. I would guess if Tebow plays, he will throw a lot of quick passes to his backs and Hernandez. I don't see him putting his shoulder down and running, unless he is 100%. The guy is a warrior and I wish he were on our team, but he is smart too. You know LSU is going to want to lay the wood on him, so no point in putting yourself intentionally in that position. If we can shut down the run, which we could not the last three years at least, we will win.

You really think this will be in their heads? All they care about is winning and stopping the Florida offense. It is going to be in Tebow's head and Urban's head more so than anyone else.
It will be in their heads from the perspective that the refs are going to flag ANYTHING that smells like a late hit or roughing. Yes, I think the LSU D will have it in their heads a bit.

Tebow won't play. No "inside info," but he's not going to play.
