on that touchdown run?

Pretty sure it was Curran. Hebert was on him but he managed to get a shoulder pad on Scott, but there was no way he was stopping him.

it was currey or curran.... the short linebacker!

quote from 2theadvocate.com:
The Tigers went two plays and 38 yards for the winning touchdown. Scott, a 1,000-yard rusher last year who has hardly seemed to fit in with this year’s offense, ran over Georgia linebacker Marcus Dowtin on a 33-yard run for the game winner with 46 seconds left.

Thanks Tigeramongpigs. I thought it was Dowtin, but was not sure. I think #91 Weston was involved too.

It was definitely Renny Curran.

Nope. No.38 Dowtin was on UGA's left defensive side, with No.35 Curran to his right. T-Bob blocked Curran as Dowtin moved to fill the hole. Chuck Trucked him, and Curran could only manage a hand on Chuck's ankle. It caused a slight stumble, but Chuck was not going to be denied. TOUCHDOWN TIGERS!
I've watched that play approx 25 times, mostly in slo-mo and frame by frame, to see how the blocking performed. Dickson and Black made the hole bigger by driving No42, the D-end, out of the picture. T-Bob had to drive Curran to his left due to Curran's reaction at the snap. It led to a pancake on Curran who reached out with right hand to touch Chuck. But this was TACKLE football, and Curran FAILED.

Just watched the play again. He mowed Dowtin over. Curran missed an ankle tackle.

T-Bob owned Curran on one of Scott's TD runs

Great to see him back! The commentators were giving the UGA LB Curran lots of love all day. Noticed they didn't say much after that run did they?
Way to shut them up Chuck! Maybe we can shut up the Tebow love fest this week!
Hope so! Geaux Tigers!

Two plays later, Scott appeared stopped at the line by Rennie Curran and Marcus Dowtin. But the LSU runner stayed on his feet and didn't stop until he was in the end zone.

NPR is not a good source for football

quote from ESPN article:
LSU running back Charles Scott: The heart and soul of LSU’s offense a year ago, Scott hadn’t done a whole lot this season until Saturday. The Tigers needed him in the fourth quarter, and he delivered with a pair of touchdown runs and a season-high 95 yards rushing. His 33-yard touchdown romp with 46 seconds remaining was the game-winner and was vintage Scott. He bolted through the hole and then ran over Georgia linebacker Marcus Dowtin on his way to the end zone.
looks like Marcus Dowtin is the consensus from the different articles I've read.....

That's because they all called me for the facts before releasing the articles.

sorry. I didn't read through the other posts before putting that up. I now see that you did extensive research on the subject. thanks.

That wasn't research, it was foreplay.
